The Draco is our new trail chassis; designed with strength in mind. This chassis’ door design allows a little easier access but keeps you protected with the Nascar style X door. This chassis is 100 percent 1.75 inch .120 DOM and welded.
The trunk area has been enlarged to accommodate storage of coolers and trail bags; along with a modest increase in interior cab space.
Do not think that you will be sacrificing clearance for those extra inches! the Draco belly is more shallow; the link points are untouched, keeping that tried and true geometry each Rock Lizard has been known for.
The Draco was designed with a V8 engine in mind, but the space will easily adapt to a smaller engine. The hood line has been slightly lowered to increase front visibility.
Were you thinking of starting your roller with rear steer & portals? Perfect! The Draco was laid out with those in the ultimate game plan, but as you know - any axles can be modified to fit correctly.
Here’s the kicker…. We believe that this is a special car and therefore we are limiting the run to only 10 Draco chassis being released.
